Reminder:  The Faceplant Parent Meeting is THIS SUNDAY, December 5th @ 12pm in the Austin Ridge Café (Building B) and we highly encourage you to plan on attending if at all possible!  
We will also need a copy of your current health insurance card - both front and back!  We we walk through the trip details (packing lists, lodging info, travel times, logistics, etc) introduce you to the leadership team, answer questions and make sure we are all settled in regards to paperwork and payments!  
Important: ALL paperwork and payments are due in full by Monday, December 6th (the following day) in order to avoid a $5/day late submission fee!

Who:  Any high schools students
What: We will have a group of over 100 students and adult leaders (1 leader for every 5 kids) travel by charter bus to Colorado.  Students will have the opportunity to ski/snowboard for 3 full days.  Students who do not wish to ski/snowboard are encouraged to come at a reduced price because there is still plenty to do and the community built on the trip is pretty amazing.

Deposit: $200 due at registration
(upgrade charges, lesson fee, etc. also due at registration, if applicable)

2nd Payment: $200 due November 1st

Balance Payment: $260 due December 6th

If payment has not been received in full by December 6th, the student’s trip is subject to cancellation.  Balance will incur a penalty charge of $5 each day the balance and paperwork are not submitted.  All payments are non-refundable.  There will be no refunds issued, under any circumstances, for any payments made towards Faceplant trip.  Please plan accordingly.

If your student is bringing their own equipment, not skiing, already has a season pass lift ticket, or any other aspect which might affect trip cost, please contact Tyler McKelvy ( tyler@austinridge.org) immediately so that we may plan accordingly and update your trip total. 
Food: All meals, with the exception of 3 travel meals in each direction (6 total) are included in the trip cost.  Breakfast and dinner are provided by the YMCA in the form of two all-you-can-eat buffets, including fresh salad bar, desserts and homemade entrees.  Students will have the option to pack a lunch with food provided by ARBC – or if they choose to do so, may purchase a warm lunch on the mountain. 
Equipment: Trip cost includes the rental of ski/snowboard equipment – equipment upgrades and helmets are available for additional fee.  Selections made on registration form. 

Lessons: We HIGHLY recommend that beginners and first timers take a full day lesson on the first day.  This option can also be selected ($49) on the registration form.  Many students will take advantage of this option so students will almost definitely be grouped together.
